Cheryl A. Winget of Marathon Customer Service requested documentation and I provided all that was requested. I am waiting for a response.
They replaced the fuel pump and it fired up but ran rough and would stall then the engine light came on. Dealership decided to test the fuel and found water mixed in the fuel. $3,500 later, the car is back to normaI. I was provided with a sample of the gas.
I have visited the gas station but the owner has avoided speaking to me.
I am asking for reimbursement of damages and cost of repair. The car had been at the BMW of North Canton Dealership for regular service recently so I know there were no issues prior to fueling at this gas station.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Informed that not all stations have to comply with reward standards. Will never go to the station “pissed” at again.
User's recommendation: Do not go to this station. They never have receipts at the pump and don’t honor .05 cents off as shows on their Marathon sign.

I had a split payment for gas I purchased today . Times are hard for us right now so every penny counts.My husband had her take $9 cash and $2 from his PayPal.She only gave us $9 gas and still charged him $2 on his PayPal.When he went to complain she refused to return the $2.I heard her screaming at my husband through the window so i approached.She barely spoke English and was screaming that she couldnt and wouldn't return the $2 and wouldnt do anything to help.I need a refund and she should suspended.Ive had problems with her before i will never go back to that gas station and ive been going to that location for over 30 years.Ive never been so embarrassed or disrespected like that before.So the customer behind us gave us a dollar to just end it.
Nobody should have to leave a gas station feeling the way we felt she has a major attitude and she needs to learn better English and she needs to learn your system she needs to be retrained suspended or fired. This happened at the marathon 102 address 790 Northeast 167th Street.
I have my receipt if you need any further information. It's not just about the $2 it's the principal and the way your employee treats your customers.

My complaint is on the district manager (Matt) of marathon in the Scottsboros stores, and the guy with him I think he said his name was (pat). The incident happen at 15277 John T Reid Pkwy, Scottsboro, AL 35769.
When they walked in I was on the phone with my bank talking about a transaction that happen on Monday the 4th at this marathon. My husband prepaid gas for $80 but the computer went down, he pumped $70 of gas. Now the computer is saying we owes it. The owner was waiting to see if the transaction will go through.
Today I thought it the transaction didnt go through so I came down and paid the $70. But after I paid it I saw that the transaction is going through. So while I had the bank on the phone I went to talk to Matt and the other guy. And tried to explain what happen.
Matt tells me he has 61 stores and he was not concerned with trying to figure out/ fix the problem. So the other guy force hands me $10 thinking that will fix my problem but they didnt let me finish telling them I just paid the $70 and that now I am owed all together $80. Only thing Matt said about the other $70 is that he is going to make the owner write it off.
Then the other guy starts telling me I shouldnt be on the phone with my bank inside the store with customers (which there was none just me). All because I told him that my mom was the clerk, so does that make me not a customer because she is my mom?
Preferred solution: I want him to change how he speaks to people and how he handles things.

I stopped at the Marathon gas station on Dort Hwy to get some gas, a couple quarts of oil and use the restroom. Im a diabetic, take 2 strong diuretics for my blood pressure and heart failure so have to urinate often.
When I politely asked where the restroom was it triggered her. She went off on me that they dont have one and rudely replied Ill tell you why. She said that Im not a janitor. I told her that youre a gas station with a store and thats a part of doing business.
People stop at these type of stations to get gas, a snack or drink and to use the restroom. Well that triggered her even more. She said thats not in my job description. I was hired as a store clerk not a janitor.
Im a Realtor and last year I put 54,000 miles in my vehicle.
I spend a whole lot of money on gas, snacks drinks etc I often eat gas station food and snacks in my car because Im always on the go Because of this experience I will never again stop at a Marathon gas station ever again. Im sure you dont care, but Im so angry right not that I wanted to make you aware

On Feb 27,2024 at or about 11:30AM, I went to the Marathon located at 2741 State Road 7, Wellington, Fl to get gas. As I have done for the last 7 years at this location.
My 2017 Spark had a half tank of gas already and I gave the clerk $20 for pump #3. I proceeded to fill my tank. I always hold the nozzel(because I don't know how make the nozzel stay in without me holding it) By the time the $12 of gas was in tank, I was very surprised it didn't shut off. Gas was priced at $3.25.
It has never cost $12 to fill a spark that's already half full. To my surprise, the gas kept coming out until I removed the nozzel. However, now it was $16.36 and gas was running out on the ground. The pump never clicked to notify me that my tank was full.
I tried explaining this matter to the on site Manager, who said his name is Willie. Mr. Willie said he could not give me a refund. I advised Mr.
Willie it was not a refund I wanted, but to have the pump repaired so this problem wouldn't happen to another customer. To which he replied in a nasty tone, " I don't fix pumps". I asked for a number to file a complaint. He directed the Cashier to give me the headquarter's number.
However, when I called the number it was the number to the same Marathon.
Mr Willie then advised me that he doesn't have a manager and that I can speak to the owner, Julio. But he doesn't know when Julio will be in.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They sent me a letter of apology and a $25 gift card.
Since then, every time I have visited the station, there is paper in the printer and there is water and a squeegee available to clean my windshield. I am very pleased with the result.
User's recommendation: I will still use this station and look forward to the changes they are referring to. I believe others should still use them as well.

Good morning,
I have attempted numerous times to get in contact with someone.
On February 28 2024 I went to the Marathon gas station on Brant Pike in Huber Heights OH.
I attempted to use my Debit Card at the pump for some reason it was not working so I move to another pump, that pump was not reading my card either, so, I go inside and use my card at the register. I asked the attendee to put 45 on pump 3.
I than realized I did not need 45 dollars, I went to explain that to the attendee, I was told whatever I did not use would be returned on my card.
That has not happened and the payment is no longer pending. I only used 28 dollars at pump 3.
I am owed 17 dollars.

I was stopped at a local Marathon located on Nashville road in bowling green I spent my last $60 dollars to get gas a drink and cigarettes I was over 50 miles from home mind you! I walk out to pump my gas grabbed the nozzle and turned around to put in my car when I noticed the screen stated prepay inside I just walked back in and asked the very nice cashier if she had put it in the wrong pump..
frantically she is trying to fix the mistake but Im gettin no where so then goes to get the manager who was very hateful. And tells me it was my fault because I cancel the transaction at the pump I proceed to become upset because my last bit of money was now gone and I had no gas to get home I told her this and she then proceeded to tell me again it was my fault and to figure it out and the other associates are looking at her like she had done something wrong!! I will keep reporting until I receive my $45 back or I will file with the police for fraud because my account has still been charged for $45 and a separate transaction and my drinks!! It may just be $45 but it was stolen from me and I intend on pursing every legal action if I do not hear from someone by 5 central time!
So since its been charged for $15 where is my $45 that is missing from my gas??? I also find it extremely funny this station cant be located on the map..but its okay the store number is on the screen shots
